1st Annual FITS Furniture Design Competition
This fall, FITS announced its 1st Annual Furniture Design
Competition. The brief encompasses themes that have been current
with our work this last year; namely collaboration and the
open learning environment.
Students were asked to create a room divider or storage unit
that facilitates learning in an open and collaborative environment.
Designs should additionally consider display and work surfaces
as well as sustainable materials and design practice. Submission
deadline is December 21, 2006.
Winners will be announced January 15th, 2007.
